Herndon, VA. ShuffleExchange has announced that two organizations that collaborate in their data management, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) & National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) have chosen ShuffleExchange’s SEConnect. SEConnect is an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) that will automate data sharing between the two organizations and their varied data management platforms.

About the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists

Founded in 1931 and located in Park Ridge, Ill., and Washington, D.C., the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) is the professional organization representing nearly 53,000 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and student registered nurse anesthetists across the United States. As advanced practice registered nurses, CRNAs are anesthesia experts who administer more than 45 million anesthetics to patients in the United States each year and are the primary providers of anesthesia care in rural America. In some states, CRNAs are the sole anesthesia professionals in nearly 100 percent of rural hospitals. For more information, visit www.aana.com.

About National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists

The National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting patient safety by enhancing provider quality in the field of nurse anesthesia. We accomplish our mission through the development and implementation of credentialing programs that support lifelong learning among nurse anesthetists.

There are nearly 54,000 certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) in the United States working in every healthcare setting, in both rural and urban areas, and in every state. The rigorous and demanding initial education and training, followed by the ongoing continued certification, places nurse anesthetists at the forefront of a growing movement to ensure continuing competency in healthcare practitioners.
